Inclement Weather Policy

DC/Tenleytown campus:  We follow Montgomery County Public Schools’ inclement weather policy for school closings and delayed openings. If MCPS has a 2-hour delay in the morning, before-care will be cancelled, and school will begin at 11:00 a.m. If MCPS after-school activities are cancelled, then aftercare will be cancelled.

Falls Church campus: We follow Fairfax County Public Schools’ inclement weather policy for school closings and delayed openings. If FCPS has a 2-hour delay in the morning, CommuniKids Preschool will be closed that day.

Closings and delays for each center will also be announced on our phone message at 202-363-0133 (DC) and 703-534-2221 (Falls Church).
